If it is your first time seeing the Physiotherapist for this injury or it has been longer than 6 months since the last visit, an assessment is required. The virtual assessment involves a one on one evaluation by the physiotherapist using a secure video platform where the therapist and the patient can see and talk to each other in real time. The therapist can evaluate the patients condition and provide recommendations, demonstrate exercises and home treatment options. It involves a detailed health history, physical examination, education and digital home exercise program that can be emailed to the patient. (60 minutes)
